A fast-paced action game revolving around collecting stars, Kira Kira Star Night DX was created by indie developer RIKI, who according to the game’s official English site is also a manga illustrator. The game boasts advanced graphical techniques for a Famicom/NES title and hosts chiptune music produced by Manami Matsumae (Mega Man), Yuzo Koshiro (Kid Icarus: Uprising) and more!The game is obviously not licensed by Nintendo, but Columbus Circle will publish the game as a Japan-exclusive. Perhaps we might see this sequel as a digital download in the western sphere? In the meantime, check out the trailer below!
